Built From a Different Way of Thinking About Progress

This Cycle began with a recurring problem: traditional planners were good at recording tasks, but not at helping me decide what actually deserved my attention.

As an engineer, I naturally think in systems. Work, health, finances, home, and personal projects can each improve, decline, or require intervention. The challenge is not keeping every system optimized at once. It is recognizing which one needs you now.

I created This Cycle as a framework for doing exactly that. At the end of each cycle, you assess the condition and dependency of your systems, reflect on what happened, choose one area of focus, and define observable evidence of success for what comes next.

It does not require an unbroken streak. There is no accumulated backlog and no punishment for stepping away. You simply return, reflect, and begin the next cycle.
